Cadder Coffee shop is a community outreach facility run by volunteers from Cadder, other churches and no churches with an employed manageress.
The volunteers and customers are willing to travel to be part of this thriving social café.
We have freshly made scones every day and other items of homebaking. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we have homemade soups, appetising specials, paninis, baked potatoes and toasties.
On each Friday and Saturday in February and March, we will be selling tea or coffee and a scone with jam and butter at a reduced price of £1.95.
Bacon rolls continue to be sold on the last Saturday of each month with the exception of March. Instead they will be on sale on Saturday 1st April.
The coffee shop will close for the Easter break at 2pm on Thursday 13th April and re-open at 10am on Wednesday 19th April.
On 9th June 2017 we will be hosting an afternoon tea from 2pm-4pm. Tickets cost £6.50 and will go on sale in the coffee shop from 2nd May 2017.
Tuesday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. - 12 noon
If you would also like to help at the coffee shop, please let me know.
I would like to thank The Guild for donating the two very colourful framed pictures of stacked teacups. They cheer our window wall appropriately.
Thank you to Margaret Crane for her beautiful floral arrangements which have been on display over Easter. Many comments and offers to buy have come from customers. Thanks also to Moira Harvie and Margaret Simpson for renewing the greenery and watering!
We are quieter on a Friday morning for coffee & scones, so please drop in with friends and family. It would be lovely for the Friday ladies and me to see a busier Friday morning.
Coffee Shop early morning Tuesday to Saturday 10 am - 12 noon, for our freshly made coffee, scones and cake selection. Light lunches Tuesday to Saturday 12 noon - 2 pm. Our soups and specials are delicious, why not organise a regular visit, we can reserve tables.
