First Monday is for residents of the community.
We meet in the North Hall, Cadder Road, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on the first Monday of each month October to April.
At the meeting we usually enjoy a speaker or hand crafts, quizzes, etc., followed by a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit.
The ladies had a most enjoyable time at First Monday on the 4th February listening to Trish telling them of how she came to be living in her narrow boat on the canal at Cadder. She had us all laughing at the fright she got with a swan knocking on her portside window at night time and she also told us of the many acts of kindness she received during the "Beast from the East", last March, from people using the towpath along the canal. Thank you Trish.
At the next meeting on 4th March Jane will be demonstrating her lovely craft work.
The outing to Lomond Shores on 25th March is due to be paid for at the 4th of March meeting and as we are having to book two coaches we are uncertain of how much it will cost but it will not exceed £10.00 each.
Hope to see you all back again on 4th March.
