Girls' Brigade Scotland
The Girls' Brigade is a Christian organisation whose motto is to "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ". However, the Brigade is a broad church which values all and seeks to promote equality and diversity. It is open to girls and young women of all faiths, or none.
In Cadder we meet on Tuesday evenings at our South Hall on Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, near the town centre.
Our Captain is Isla Dick who is supported by a hard working group of officers and helpers.
The Company is split into three sections which meet at the following times:
| Explorers - P1 to P3 | 6.15 - 7.30 p.m. |
| Juniors - P4 to P7 | 6.30 - 8.00 p.m. |
| Brigaders - S1 to S6 | 7.30 - 9.00 p.m. |
Our 2023/24 session starts with enrolment on 29 August and our first full night on 5 September. Girls are of course welcome to enrol at any time in the session.
