The aim of the Guild is to invite and encourage women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

We have got off to a very good start this session with two excellent speakers on two very different subjects - Rev Barbara O'Donnell on Laughter is the Best Medicine and Morag Reid who gave a very moving talk on Jane Haining - A Scottish Heroine.
On November 1st we will hear about the first of the projects we are supporting this year - The Boys' Brigade - Faith in Young People.
The Very Rev.Dr. Lorna Hood OBE and Kezia Dugdale MSP will be with us on 15th November. Their subject "Remembering Srebrenica." This is our joint meeting with the Guilds from Kenmure and Springfield Cambridge Churches and on November 29th we will hear about the Tapestry of Scotland when Lyn Dunachie will be the speaker. All these meetings are at 7.30 pm in the South Halls.
November is a very busy month for us as our Coffee Morning is on Saturday 17th in the South Halls from 10 am to 12 noon. Tickets on sale soon and our Dedication Service is on Sunday 18th.
The Council Carol Service is on Monday 3rd December at 7 pm in Lenzie Union Church.
We are delighted to have welcomed some new members this session and as always anyone is welcome at any of our meetings.
