Ready to cut the cake!

May Braid - 100th Birthday!

Our Guild member, May Braid, was 100 years old on Saturday 30 November 2019. Here she is, with Margaret Dundas and Margaret Neely, wearing the Guild stole, a gift from Cadder Guild to mark her birthday.

Our Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday 5th March. The Office Bearers and Committee will remain the same for the next year.

It was most interesting to get an up-date on all that has been happening in the last year from our Convener, Roll Keeper, Treasurer, Project Partner, Leprosy Mission, Lodging House, Martha Table and our House Bound Members. A lot has been going on.

After the AMG two Officers and two Boys from our own Boys' Brigade gave us an account of what each section does on their meeting night and what they were going to do with the money they have been given this year being one of the Guild projects. A cheque was given from the Guild to the boys on the occasion of their 50th Birthday.

Our fund raiser for the Projects on Thursday March 19th in the South Halls has now had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis.

Our final evening of the session was our Daffodil Tea on Thursday 2nd April, this has also had to be cancelled.
