The aim of the Guild is to invite and encourage women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
Meetings in The South Hall, Kirkintilloch Road at 7:30 p.m. on alternate Thursdays and as otherwise indicated.
Now that we are almost into September and the summer months have whizzed past we are turning our attention to the new Guild Session.
This year Guild Week has been brought forward to 8th - 15th September, following the Annual Gathering at Dundee on 7th of the month, so that Guilds who only meet during summer months can participate as well as Guilds who meet over the winter period.
Our Dedication Service will be held on Sunday 15th September, at the end of Guild Week, in Church at 10.30 a.m., when we invite our members to join together in the front pews. We hope many will be able to do so.
Following the Dedication Service our opening meeting is on Thursday 19th September at 7.30 p.m. in the South Halls. Ailsa Turner is our speaker and her subject is "The Glasgow Boys".
On 3rd October Heather Willimot will be with us - her subject "Scottish Islands", so two very different themes to start this year's programme.
We look forward to seeing all our members and also anyone else who would like to come along to any of our meetings. New members would be made most welcome.
