Men's Club

Our Club is a group to which everyone is welcome. We enjoy a programme of presentations on a wide range of topics on alternate Tuesday afternoons.

Welcome to the Club which is back and continuing its exciting series of meetings into 2023. Come along and enjoy good fellowship with interesting presentations on a variety of subjects. Meetings will continue to be held on Tuesday afternoons @ 2.15 p.m., with an optional lunch or snack being available at the Cadder Coffee Shop from 1 p.m.

Our outing this session has still to be decided, but is likely to be in April.

Our first meeting this year was held on 10 January when David More entertained us with his take on ancestry searches.

Our objectives:

  1. To provide a focus point in Cadder Church South Halls for men, of all ages, who are affiliated, or not, to any Church in the Bishopbriggs catchment area, for friendship and further learning. Presentations and talks are provided on a variety of subjects, generally twice a month, from October through to March.

Presentation on the Maid of the Loch on 24 January 2023

  2. To arrange club visits to places of exceptional interest situated in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Maid of the Loch at Balloch - April 2023

  3. To organise an annual club lunch, with members and friends, to take place in December.
