Men's Club

Our Club is a group to which everyone is welcome. We enjoy a programme of presentations on a wide range of topics on alternate Tuesday afternoons.

Our 25/26 session starts on Tuesday, 30th September in Cadder South Hall.

Come along and enjoy good fellowship with interesting presentations on a variety of subjects. We hold our meetings fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons at 2pm in Cadder South Hall. An optional lunch or snack is available in the coffee shop (also in the south hall) from 12.30 pm - Jacqueline (the manager) even offers us a lunch special, if that suits you. This is an opportunity for a catch-up and some fellowship before the talk.

The usual format is a talk lasting around 40 minutes, followed by time for questions and finishing at 3.15 pm. In addition to our talks, we plan to arrange a couple of outings again this year - details will be added to the weekly church intimations when confirmed.

We are open to all, church affiliated or not. Feel free to bring a friend. If you have difficulty getting to the south hall, please complete an enquiry form and we'll help to provide transport, where possible.

Our objectives:

  1. To provide a focus point in Cadder Church South Halls for men of all ages who are affiliated, or not, to any church in the Bishopbriggs catchment area, for friendship and further learning. Presentations and talks are provided on a variety of subjects, generally twice a month, from October through to March.

  2. To arrange club visits to places of exceptional interest situated in the Central Belt of Scotland.

  3. To organise an annual club lunch, with members and friends, to take place in December.
