What we do

Responsibilities of the property team include:
 

• General maintenance works e.g. light bulb replacement, removal of leaves from the car parks as well as the gutters at the South and North Hall. We also deal with any blocked downpipes.
   

• Annual servicing of heating boilers and fire alarms/detectors.
   

• Oversight of larger works being carried out by contractors e.g. resurfacing of the South Hall car park.

The property team meets every Wednesday morning from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at whichever site needs work that week. If you would like to join our team, even on an ad-hoc basis, please get in touch with either George Redpath or Jim Johnstone using our enquiry form - you would be most welcome.

At times, larger jobs come up where we look for additional help. These requests are usually announced in church during Sunday intimations.
